I climbed from casual gamer to hardcore gamer and then to semi-pro level. (Take that Slayer!)

I dare you to to look me in the eyes (Metaphorically) and say you can beat me (Metaphorically or Skype).

Well, competitivity has fallen with Brawl, so there aren't as many pros I guess.

In total seriousness, Super Smash Bros is not exactly a competitive game. It is more of a party fighting game.

The purpose of it is what you said indeed, however, I like the competitiveness of Melee. Plus, its not like they are easy to abuse, its really hard to play using them.

If you want competitiveness, go Street Fighter!
